AMY'S EXPERIENCE

Amy has been a dedicated public servant to the Town of Duxbury for many years. She decided to get into town politics back in 1998, when she felt compelled to have a voice in shaping the future of Duxbury. At the time, she had no political experience and little public speaking practice. When she hesitated to take the chance, her daughter Jennifer, 12 at the time, reminded her that "Mom, if you try really hard for something and you don't win, that's OK. But if you don't try at all for fear of losing, that is when you really lose." The rest is history.
